The Government of Bodoland Territorial Council successfully organized the 1st Inter-Sixth Schedule Council Premier Football League, (ISPL-2022) amongst the Sixth Schedule Councils of Northeastern states of India with a view to networking and strengthening the bond of friendship, brotherhood, mutual cooperation and for providing space and platforms to the youths of the councils. The tournament was successfully held wef 9th to 23rd October, 2022 in a befitting manner in the following venues under BTR- i. Udalguri district at Dimakuchi Playground. ii. Baksa district at District Sports Complex, Mushalpur. iii. Chirang district at Bijni District Sports Association Playground, Bijni. iv. KDSA Stadium, Kokrajhar. v. Kokrajhar district at SAI, SAG Centre Kathalguri, Kokrajhar. In this tournament, a total of eight teams of councils participated which included i. Chakma Autonomous District Council (Mizoram). ii. Lai Autonomous District Council (Mizoram). iii. Mara Autonomous District Council (Mizoram). iv. Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (Tripura). v. Garo Hills Autonomous Council (Meghalaya). vi. Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (Assam). vii. Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (Assam). viii. Bodoland Territorial Region (Assam)

The department emphasized to create playfield at the grass root level, block level, urban areas, schools and collages as required in a phase manner throughout the BTR proportionate total allotment of fund. During the financial year 2021-22, the department constructed 20 nos. of playfield. Completed schemes in the financial year 2021-22 includes: Const. of Land Dev. with Iron Goal post at Jor – Pukuri M.E. School Playground, Udalguri district at Rs. 15 lakh, construction of earth filling at Deosunga village playground, Baksa at Rs. 98,9000.

The department completed 12 nos of roads with earth filling and heavy sand gravelling under Parbatjhora Division in the financial year 2020021 and 2021-22. In the year 2021-22, the department created mix plantations at Alurbhui, Gaurangnagar under Diplai Range, created at Jaldoba Pt-I Forest village under Rupshi Range, Bashbari, at Jaldoba Pt-I Forest Village under Rupshi Range, Bashbari, at Paroura beat under Diplai Range Gaurangnagar, construction of Tipkai JFMC Plantation & Fencing at Tipkai under Khoraghat Range of Debitola Block and construction of stone masonary and chainlink fencing with iron gate for Florican Garden under Diplai Range.

The department carried out for construction and improvement of 17 nos of roads with earth filling and sand gravelling under Kachugaon Division with 100 pc completion. Besides, the department crried out construction of ACF quarter at Gossaigaon Forest Colony, repairing /renovation of grade-III quarter No.1 to 9 & 12 with grade-IV quarter No.10 & 11 numbers with construction of kitchen grade-III quarter with RCC staging & DTW of DFO’s colony at Gossaigaon, construction of brick boundary wall with heavy duty iron gate around ACF quarter along with Maa Kali Mandir compound E/F with draining system of Gossaigaon Forest Colony, construction of brick boundary wall with iron gate around the Range office at Raimona Western Range, construction of wall boundary with heavy Iron Gate at Tram Range Office at Gongia (Kachugaon), construction of renovation of boundary wall at Elachijhar at Fakiragram Forest Depot and 2 Nos. CD work at Eastern Range, Athiabari and construction of road from No.4 Shialmari to Padmabil LP School by providing GSB at Eastern Range, Athiabari are completed.

The department constructed 4 each Temporary Anti-Poaching camps each in Raimona National Park at Bamba camp under eastern Range, at Ganda Bazrum at Polo camp under Sanfan Range, and at Polo camp under Central Range. Besides, communication system for the park, signature sand visitors’ notice board for Raimona National Park, essential equipments, creation of base-line of socio-economic status of the fringe villages around Raimona National Park, installation of tube well along with solar at anti-poaching camp at Khwtia Pakra camp in 6 No. Raimona National Park, Central Range, installation of tube well along with solar at Anti-Poaching Camp at Pekua Camp at Central Range, installation of tube well along with solar at ride no. 5 in eastern Range and in Western Range, at Sanfan Range are completed while construction of anti-poaching camp in Raimona National Park and construction of boundary pillar along with the Raimona National Park are going on.

Uunder Haltugaon division the department completed 18 nos of roads and also completed the construction of boundary wall with heavy iron gate at Ultapani Range Office compound, construction of Barrack, Wireless Operator room, P.C Room and kitchen at Lumgsung Outpost, Bishmuri, construction of boundary wall with heavy iron gate at Digli Forest Beat Office compound under Gaurang Range, construction of boundary wall around Dwimalu Eco-Park at Karigaon under Gaurang range and beautification, drainage, jungle clearance and cleaning and construction of 4 nos. of waiting shed, making botanical name plate of trees at Dwimalu Eco Park at Karigaon under Gaurang range are completed.

The department under SOPD in the financial year 2020-21 completed the construction of 86 nos of sand and gravels and earth filling of roads under Chirang Forest Division and completed 12 nos of boundary wall, culverts, protection works, plantation and market shed etc. The department constructed boundary wall with heavy iron gate at Kaola Bazar Beat under Khungring Range, construction of boundary wall with heavy iron gate at Khungring Range while construction of market shed with RCC drain at Garubasha daily market, construction of 2 cell box culvert at Gwjwnpuri Forest village, construction of No.2 Kagrabari to Rwisumwiguri village road with earth filling & sand gravelling and RCC box culvert construction of 1 No. RCC culvert near Mote house at Balapara under Thaikajhora VCDC, banana cultivation under Runikhata Range, construction of road along with 1 no. RCC box culvert at Saraguri village, construction of 1 no. RCC culvert at No.2 Kusumgdwisa village road under Runikhata Range of Chirang division for the year, 2021-22, In the year 2021-22 under SOPD, the department created 5 Ha. plantation at Kaola Forest land under Runikhata Range, created 4 Ha. Block plantation at Daosri under Runikhata Range, created of 3 Ha. Block plantation at Kaola Forest land Pt-II under Runikhata Range, created 4.2 Ha. Block plantation at Bengtol Durgapur village under Runikhata Range and creation of 2 block plantation, at Deosri under Runikhata Range all with 5 years maintenance

Under SOPD scheme in the financial Year 2020-2021in Baksa forest division, the department carried out the construction of 8 nos of roads and completed with earth filling and sand gravelling. The construction of boundary wall with iron gate at Batabari Range Silpata and construction of earth filling of the ground of the Range Office at Salbari were completed.

Under SOPD scheme in the financial year 2020-2021 in Dhasri Forest Division, it carried out the following: • Construction of RCC building Forester Grade-I, Family Quarter 2 nos. at Nunoi Forest Range Head quarter, Nunoi Range • Construction of RCC building New Forest Camp at Barmukuli (Basugaon) under Nunoi Range construction of RCC building Forest guard house 1 (one) no. at Nunoi Range Headquarter Range • Construction of boundary wall with heavy iron gate at Tokonkata Bhergaon SF Range, construction of boundary wall with heavy iron gate at Segunbari Beat Nunoi Range • Repairing and renovation of Suklai Forest I.B. under Barnadi Wildlife Range, • Construction of RCC box culvert near sluice gate at road from Nunoi Range office to Segunbari boundary wall providing e/w in embankment under Nunoi Range, • E/F from Swrangjuli village to Asrabari centre and Serfanguri under Mazbat Range, • Construction of toilet block and approach road (Paver block) at Nunoi Range HQ • Construction of toilet block and approach road RCC pavement, repairing/renovation of IB at division HQ. Besides, • Beautification / infrastructure of Kanaklata Bio-diversity Park (Smart fencing) at Kalaigaon under Bhergaon Social Forestry Range, • Construction of Forest Guest House at Barnadi Wildlife Range, • Construction of 1 KM Solar Power fence with 3 strands in Mazbat Range, construction of 1.50 KM Solar Power fence with 3 strands in Nunoi Range, • Construction of 2.06 KM Solar Power fence with 3 strands in Barnadi Wildlife Range, • Creation of 5.00 Ha block plantation at Sikaridanga (Bhairabkunda) zero point under Mazbat Range, • Maintenance of patrolling path 6.50 K.M at Barnadi Wildlife Range and rising of nursery of 1.00 Hact. • Maintenance at Barnagaon S.F. Range while maintenance of development work at Bijni Mini Zoo is completed. The department constructed and completed 5 nos of roads with sand and graveling within the division.
